Whereas, Oklahoma Competitive Champions Incorporated (OCC) is providing an opportunity for you to volunteer your services at varying venues in order to help sponsor our youth’s activities, you as volunteers agree to the following:

  • To respect all levels of representatives at BOK Center, Cox Convention Center, Tulsa Expo Center, Drillers Stadium, Oktoberfest or any other venue that OCC partners with.
  • To follow any instructions provided to you by any venue personnel, OCC Directors or Board Members, or any volunteer who has been named a Group Lead.
  • To respect the position of the Group Lead assigned to your standby the OCC Board.
  • To refrain from discussing any CCC issues with venue representatives or other nonprofit organizations.  OCC business is confidential.  You may direct any questions or concerns to a board member. 
  • To communicate any OCC business to the board through appropriate email and refrain from using personal numbers or social media accounts.
  • To refrain from using inappropriate language while volunteering.
  • To protect the image and reputation of OCC and your sponsoring organization at all times.
  • To refrain from conduct that is unfitting or may be perceived as unfitting.
  • To abide by the rules and regulations set forth including but not limited to appearance, uniform, alcohol policies, POS policies, preventing workplace violence, and food safety regulations set forth by each venue that OCC partners with
  • To be respectful of all co-volunteers at all times.
  • To act in a professional and courteous manner towards each other, OCC Directors/Board Members, and to all venue representatives.
  • To bring any issues to an OCC Board Member as soon as possible after an event. 

The OCC Board Members (collectively) shall have the discretion to penalize individuals for their failure to adhere to these codes of conduct, as well as the rules of operation in the following manner:

  • Verbal warning
  • Written warning
  • Suspension of one event
  • Suspension of volunteering at the venue where the incident occurred
  • Suspension of current fundraising season 

If a volunteer feels that an issue has not been addressed adequately or that they have been unjustly accused of not adhering to the above guidelines, they may request a meeting of the entire OCC Board for review of the situation.  This meeting can be requested through ANY OCC Board Member.  After the review, the Board decision will be final.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge receipt of the Codes of Conduct for Oklahoma Competitive Champions Incorporated (OCC).

**This release will remain in effect from the date signed through May 1, 2025.
